The Problem
A Sharjah-based real estate company with 200+ residential and commercial listings was spending AED 35,000 per month on Google Ads to generate enquiries — because their website had no organic search presence. Built on an outdated WordPress theme with no Arabic support and Core Web Vitals scores in the failing range, the site ranked on page 6 or below for every target keyword.
They needed a property portal that could list and filter properties by type, area, and price in both Arabic and English; integrate with their existing CRM for lead capture; load fast enough to rank on Google; and be managed by non-technical staff without a developer on call.
The Solution
Al Wafaa Group built a custom property portal on Next.js 15 with Supabase as the backend, delivered in 6 weeks:
- Architecture and design (Weeks 1–2): Bilingual site structure with Arabic RTL and English LTR on the same codebase. Property schema defined in Supabase with Arabic field support. SEO URL structure mapped to Sharjah neighbourhoods and property types.
- Development (Weeks 2–5): Next.js App Router with ISR — each property listing page pre-rendered and cached at the edge for sub-second load. Advanced filter UI with URL-based state for shareable filtered searches. Non-technical admin CMS for staff to add and edit listings.
- SEO launch (Week 6): Schema.org RealEstateListing markup on every property page. Canonical tags, hreflang for Arabic/English, XML sitemap with 200+ property URLs submitted to Google Search Console. Final Core Web Vitals: LCP 1.2s, INP under 100ms, CLS 0.
The Results
Within 90 days of launch, the site was ranking on page 1 of Google for 23 target keywords including high-intent terms like "apartments for rent in Sharjah" and "villas for sale Sharjah" — in both Arabic and English. Organic enquiry volume increased by 140% compared to the same period the previous year.
The client reduced their Google Ads budget from AED 35,000 to AED 12,000 per month within 6 months — redirecting the saving into a WhatsApp lead nurturing sequence that Al Wafaa Group subsequently built on top of the portal's CRM integration.
