One shipment record, every role, real time

Every scan, handover, status change, COD entry and proof photo is written once. Every role sees the same information — no sync delays, no disputes from memory.

🔗

Chain of Custody

Scan-and-confirm handovers: pickup → warehouse → supervisor → driver → customer. Custody changes only when the receiver confirms. A shipment has exactly one custodian at a time.

💵

Cash Control

Each COD amount is traced from driver to supervisor to admin, with driver-, area- and merchant-wise reports. Mismatches are flagged and require a note before closing.

🤖

Auto Allocation

At the cut-off the system allocates by area, vehicle type and capacity, plans the fastest stop order, and warns early if a route will miss the delivery deadline.

🧾

Automatic Billing

Merchant-specific pricing calculates every charge. UAE VAT invoices, credit notes and payout batches are generated and sent to Oracle ERP via API.

📦

Warehouse Control

Scanning in compares expected with received parcels and flags missing, duplicate, incorrect and damaged ones before they reach the field.

📍

Field Visibility

Driver GPS, daily km, call and WhatsApp attempts, and photo and signature proof of delivery — all linked to the shipment record.

AI-Integrated · AI-Ready

Built with AI at its core

Not a bolt-on. Every AI capability is wired directly into the delivery workflow — from the moment the cut-off is reached to the moment the COD is reconciled.

🧠

AI Route Optimisation

At the cut-off, the AI engine allocates every shipment by area, vehicle type and capacity, then plans the fastest stop order using real road distances and traffic data — so every parcel reaches the customer before the delivery deadline.

⚠️

Predictive Failed-Delivery Alerts

The AI scores each delivery for failed-delivery risk before the driver leaves. High-risk jobs are flagged so the supervisor can call ahead — reducing wasted trips and protecting your first-attempt success rate.

📈

Demand Forecasting

After 3–6 months of data, the AI predicts daily shipment volume per area so operations managers can plan driver headcount and vehicle allocation in advance — not reactively on the morning of.

⏱️

Predicted Arrival Times

AI-generated ETA per stop based on historical delivery duration per area, traffic patterns, and the driver's current position — giving merchants and supervisors accurate, live delivery windows.

📦

Smart Auto-Allocation

The allocation engine learns from driver performance over time — factoring in individual delivery speed, area familiarity, and COD compliance — to assign the right driver to the right route.

🔄

Re-plan on Demand

If a driver is absent, a delivery fails, or a road is blocked, the AI suggests an instant re-plan — reassigning affected stops to available drivers while respecting capacity limits and the delivery deadline.

Phase 1 ships with the rules-based routing engine at launch. The machine-learning prediction layer activates after 3–6 months of live delivery data as an optional upgrade.

Three front-ends, one backend

Each portal and app is built for its users' specific workflow. All share the same shipment record and real-time state.

Module 5.21 · AI-Assisted

Auto Allocation & Route Optimisation

At the cut-off, the system splits shipments by area, allocates to vehicles within capacity, and plans the fastest stop order so every parcel arrives before the delivery deadline.

Auto Allocation

By area, vehicle type and capacity. Oversized parcels to cars/vans only. Overflow flagged with suggested fixes.

Route Planning

Numbered stops per driver. Vans start at the warehouse; riders at their assembly point.

Route Optimisation

Uses road distance and traffic. Warns early if a route won't meet the delivery deadline.

Re-order & Re-plan

Drivers can move stops with a logged reason. Failed deliveries or absent driver trigger a suggested re-plan.

Phase 2 — Machine-Learning Predictions

After 3–6 months of delivery data: predicted arrival times per area, failed-delivery risk scoring (call ahead before wasting a trip), demand forecasting for driver planning, and allocation that learns from driver performance. Available as an optional add-on.

Pricing, COD & Oracle ERP Integration

Rates are set by the operator. The system applies them automatically to every shipment, then generates and syncs invoices to Oracle ERP.

Pricing engine

Base deliveryFixed amount per plan or merchant
WeightWeight bands or per kg above included weight
Area / zonePrice per destination zone
Oversized surchargeWhen the oversized flag is set
COD feeFixed + % of COD, with min and max

Frequently Asked Questions

What is included in the courier management system?▼
The system includes a merchant portal (web), admin portal (web) with role-based access for admins, area managers and supervisors, a single operations mobile app (Android and iOS) for pickup drivers, delivery drivers, warehouse staff and supervisors, and a backend with 21 modules covering chain of custody, COD, pricing, billing, GPS, reports and Oracle ERP integration.
How does chain of custody work in the system?▼
Every parcel has one named owner and one current stage. Handovers — pickup → warehouse → supervisor → driver → customer — are scan-and-confirm. The receiving party scans and confirms before custody changes, creating an uneditable audit trail of who held each parcel, when, and where.
How does COD (cash on delivery) tracking work?▼
Each COD amount is traced from the delivery driver to the field supervisor to admin. Drivers record the exact amount collected; supervisors verify and submit; admin reconciles with mismatches flagged and requiring a note before closing. Reports break down COD by driver, supervisor, area, merchant and date.
Does the system support automatic route optimisation?▼
Yes. At the cut-off time the system auto-allocates shipments by delivery area, vehicle type and capacity, then plans the fastest stop order for each driver using a routing engine (Google OR-Tools, GraphHopper or similar). Supervisors can override the plan; drivers can re-order stops with a logged reason.
Can the system integrate with Oracle ERP?▼
Yes. The platform generates UAE VAT-compliant tax invoices, credit notes and payout batches, then sends them to Oracle ERP via a REST/JSON API with OAuth 2.0 authentication (push via webhook or pull). An ERP sync dashboard shows each document's Oracle status and provides retries, resend and daily reconciliation.
What technology stack is used?▼
The operations mobile app is built in Flutter (one codebase for Android and iOS, one view per role, with offline queuing). Web portals use React / Next.js. The backend runs on Node.js (NestJS) with PostgreSQL + PostGIS, Redis job queues, and REST plus WebSocket for the live dashboard and map. Hosting is in a UAE cloud region.
Is GPS driver tracking included?▼
Yes. Live location and movement history stream while drivers are on duty. Area managers and supervisors see a live map with route overlays. Daily km, trip count, duration, start and end are logged. Drivers are tracked only while on duty, in line with UAE data-protection requirements.
What optional modules can be added later?▼
Optional modules include a customer mobile app, public tracking page, SMS and email notifications, WhatsApp Business automated messages, online card payments, time-slot and scheduled delivery, customer OTP at delivery, merchant API and e-commerce plugins, and an AI prediction layer for arrival times and failed-delivery risk.
